Lewis Hamilton with an excellent drive took his 62 pole position.

Here are the driver reactions after the qualifying.

Sebastian Vettel managed to win the race with a great pit stop strategy from Ferrari. Lewis Hamilton came first to change his tyres and he got stuck behind Max Verstappen losing time while at the same time Sebastian Vettel had clean air to push, when Vettel made his pit stop he came just in the front of Lewis Hamilton and from then Vettel maintained the first place. Both Haas cars had to retire and Alonso also retired on the last laps of the race. Daniel Ricciardo had mechanical problems and didn’t managed to finish in his home race. Both Toro Roso and Force India cars finished in the points.
